Sakath Chauth 1st Story
After hearing this, that girl’s mother went to moneylender’s home and asked to her that if you had promised anything for Sakath Chauth ?
Then moneylender’s wife said- “I promised to do Tilkut.”After that moneylender’s wife said that if her son returned back then she will do 100 kg Tilkut.Shri Ganesha was pleased with this and made her son at wedding vows.
The son got married with pomp.When moneylender’s son and daughter-in-law came to the house, moneylender’s wife did 100 kg Tilkut and said that O God Chauth! My son and daughter –in-law come home with your blessing .So that,I will always do Sakat fast with tilkut .
From then on, all the people of town started sakath fasting with Tilakut.
