Shyamala graciously folded her hands and requested Dharmaraj- Hey Nath! Now please show me a means by which my mother is free from this trouble and her salvation. It is unbearable for me to bear the sufferings of my mother. "
Dharmaraj tenderly said to Shyamala with a soft voice, "O Goddess! You were a Brahmin in a previous life and followed the Wednesday fast in her birth. In this birth also, you have observed Wednesday on the preaching of Brahmin. With the grace of this fast, you get all the happiness. Now if you sincerely pledge to donate the virtues of the Wednesday fast of your birth to your mother in front of me, then all your mother's sufferings will end and By this virtue they will get the best happiness.
Then Shyamala was satisfied and did as Dharmaraja said.
