Budhvar Vrat Katha

The prince married his sister, Princess Shyamala, to Dharmaraja with pomp and gave a dowry. Princess Dharmaraja was delighted to find her husband. She served Dharmaraja in every way and kept him content and happy. Dharmaraja too was very happy and content with getting Shyamala as the ideal wife. He had handed over all the housework to Shyamala.
There were seven cells in the house of Dharmaraja. These seven cells were firmly sealed with nails. Dharmaraja had ordered Princess Shyamall never to open these cells. Shyamala was busy with her housework. She never used to open these rooms, thus Shyamala had to spend a lot of time and the seven rooms remained closed forever.
